Automatic Sheathed Cable Crimping and Heat Shrink Tube Inserting Machine WM-394
The WM-394 turns multi-core sheathed cable into sleeved, crimped leads in one automatic cell — jacket and core stripping, terminal crimping at two reel-fed stations, then heat-shrink tubing drawn from a continuous spool, threaded over the joint and shrunk in place. Jobs are set on a Kinco color touchscreen and finished leads drop into a stainless collection tray. Wire-range and cycle-rate figures are confirmed against your actual cable: send a 2–3 meter sample and we return a trial-run video before you order.

Key features
- One pass from raw sheathed cable to finished lead — strip, crimp and sleeve without operators threading tube between stations
- Two crimping stations fed straight from terminal reels, so both crimp points stay loaded during production
- Heat-shrink tubing pulled from a continuous spool rather than pre-cut sleeves — one bulk consumable instead of bagged sleeve batches
- Job settings entered on a Kinco color touchscreen; emergency stop and status buttons sit on the same panel at eye level
- Free sample test — send 2–3 meters of your cable, we run it on this machine and send you the trial video before you order
What it processes
- Multi-core sheathed cable leads that need crimped terminals protected by heat-shrink sleeves
- Appliance, power-tool and equipment leads where the crimp joint must leave the line already insulated
- Harness shops replacing manual tube threading and separate shrink ovens with a single inline step
Suited for: multi-core sheathed cable that must leave the machine stripped, crimped and already sleeved — the heat-shrink tube is threaded and shrunk inline, so no downstream oven or manual tube handling. Not suited for: loose discrete wires — for single-wire crimping with heat-shrink sleeves (plus inline laser marking), pick the WM-389 crimping and shrink tube inserting machine covering 0.3–5 mm²; and if your sheathed cable needs a twisted, tinned end instead of a sleeved crimp, the WM-391 sheathed cable crimping and tinning machine handles OD 2.0–6.5 mm cable with 2–10 cores. Where no sleeve is required at all and the cores simply have to be stripped to staggered lengths and crimped, the WM-399 staggered core stripping and crimping machine does that on 2-core and 3-core cable at 1,200–1,500 pcs/h.
Sheathed cable is the least forgiving input in crimping automation — jacket hardness, core lay and sleeve position all shift from one cable construction to the next. That is why we publish tooling-dependent figures only after proving them on your material: send 2–3 meters of your actual cable, and we run it on this machine on camera — stripping, both crimps and the shrunk sleeve all in one take — before you commit.

WM-394 — common questions
Which cable sizes and terminals does the WM-394 accept?
Crimping applicators and tube fixtures are matched to your exact cable construction and terminal, so coverage is confirmed case by case rather than off a generic chart. Send your cable outer diameter, core count and the terminal drawing or part number, and we reply with a firm yes or no plus the tooling plan for your job.
Can I see the machine run my own cable before ordering?
Yes, and we insist on it. Send a 2–3 meter sample of your actual cable — we set the machine up for it, run it, and send you the video showing the stripped cores, the crimps and the shrunk sleeves before you commit to the order.
My leads are loose single wires, not sheathed cable — is this still the right machine?
No — the WM-394 is built around sheathed multi-core cable. For discrete single wires that need crimping plus heat-shrink sleeves, the WM-389 covers 0.3–5 mm² wire and adds inline laser marking; if your sheathed cable needs a tinned end instead of a sleeved crimp, look at the WM-391.
