Fully Automatic Dual-End Wire Crimping Machine with Servo Drive, 14–28 AWG WM-382
The WM-382 cuts, strips, twists and crimps both ends of the wire in one servo-driven cycle, delivering up to 1,400 finished leads per hour at lengths under 300 mm. It covers 14–28 AWG wire, cuts anywhere from 65 to 9,999 mm holding 1 mm + 0.2% of length, strips and twists 7–12 mm, and crimps at 2.0 tons with a 3.0 T press optional. Optical-fiber sensing watches wire presence, terminal crimping, blockage and air pressure on every cycle. The whole machine stands on a 700 × 800 mm footprint and weighs about 358 kg, so it fits an existing harness line without re-layout.

Key features
- Both ends finished in one cycle — cut, strip, twist and crimp with no second pass and no half-done work-in-progress between benches
- Servo-driven feed holds 1 mm + 0.2% length accuracy from 65 mm jumpers to 9,999 mm leads — the cabinet runs Mitsubishi MELSERVO-JE amplifiers on the cut, strip and transfer axes (pictured), not stepper drives
- 2.0 T press, upgradeable to 3.0 T, spans small signal terminals through 14 AWG power terminals
- Fiber-optic sensors stop the cycle on missing wire, missed crimp, blockage or low air — before scrap piles up
What it processes
- Appliance, HVAC and automotive harness leads crimped on both ends, AWG 14–28
- Jumper-wire production for control cabinets, switchgear and PCB assemblies
- Harness shops replacing two single-end benches with one automatic dual-end line
Suited for: production runs of double-ended crimped leads — appliance, control-cabinet and automotive jumpers in 14–28 AWG, cut lengths 65–9,999 mm, with stripping and twisting built into the same cycle. Not suited for: housing insertion, sheathed multicore cable or lugs — for crimped leads that must arrive seated in housings, pick the WM-376 double-end crimping and housing insertion machine, AWG 32–16; the heavy-press and multicore models in the terminal crimping machines category cover the rest.
Send 2–3 meters of your actual wire together with your terminal reels and we run your exact lead on this machine on video — length, twist and crimp — before you commit. See how dual-end crimping slots into an EV wire harness line.
The air-supply entry is 4–6 kgf; the pressure unit and required supply are confirmed on the quote before installation.

WM-382 — common questions
What determines the real output rate?
Wire length is the main driver — the rated 1,400 pieces per hour applies to leads under 300 mm, and longer leads add feed time. Twisting is part of the cycle rather than a separate pass, so quoted cycle times already include it. Calculate with your true cut lengths when comparing machines.
Which terminals can it crimp?
Reel-fed open-barrel terminals within the 2.0 ton press class, with a 3.0 T press optional for heavier footprints inside the AWG 14 limit. Applicators are matched to your terminal — send terminal samples or drawings and we confirm the applicator fit before you order.
What is the WM-382 not built for?
It crimps but does not insert housings — leads that must arrive inside connectors need the housing-insertion models in the terminal crimping machines category. Sheathed multicore cable and lug-class terminals above the press class are also out of range.
