Automatic Wire Cutting Stripping and End Twisting Machine for Single and Double Wire WM-187
Our WM-187 cuts wire to length, removes insulation and twists the exposed conductor strands, reducing hand preparation before soldering. It processes a single wire at 0.1–4.5 mm² or two wires at 0.1–2.5 mm² each, with a specified output of 4,000–10,000 pcs/h. Head stripping reaches 250 mm and tail stripping 150 mm; we verify the usable strip lengths, strand condition and working rate on your actual wire.

Key features
- Reduce repeated hand work: combine cutting, stripping and end-strand twisting so operators spend less time gathering loose strands before soldering.
- Run two matching wires in parallel for repeated batches, with a separate 0.1–2.5 mm² range per wire and the finished rate checked against your program.
- Prepare up to 13 middle stripping sections for leads with several connection points, reducing separate measuring and manual stripping operations.
- Prove the setup on your material: we show the stripped conductor and twisted ends on video so you can check strand damage and end quality before ordering.
- Help operators start with the right setup: we set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual.
What it processes
- Stranded hookup leads prepared for soldering in electronics, lighting and appliance assemblies
- Repeated single-insulation wire pairs processed in parallel at up to 2.5 mm² per wire
- Jumper wiring with programmed exposed sections along its length
Loose strands can turn a fast cutting operation into a slow soldering job. Our WM-187 brings cutting, stripping and end twisting into one process, helping repeated leads reach the next bench with less manual preparation. The LCD and keypad provide program controls; the separate ranges for one-wire and two-wire operation make the intended setup clear.
Start with insulation removal, then judge the twist. Wires with the same conductor area can differ in strand count, insulation grip and outside diameter. We set up the guides and blade around your sample and show the conductor before and after twisting. That gives you useful evidence of end quality rather than relying on the nominal range alone.
Incoming reel tension also deserves attention. Send the reel weight and dimensions with your inquiry so we can confirm how the wire should be supplied to the machine. A suitable feed arrangement helps keep the setup stable as the batch runs.
Send your wire specification and end drawing. We confirm the trial settings, finished wire condition, working rate and wear parts in the quote for your application.

WM-187 — common questions
Does it make a twisted pair from two insulated wires?
It twists the exposed conductor strands at a stripped end. The two-wire mode processes two wires in parallel; it does not specify twisting their insulated lengths together. Send the finished wire drawing so we can distinguish end twisting from twisted-pair production.
Will twisting hide strands damaged during stripping?
A tidy twist alone is not enough to judge stripping quality. We inspect the conductor before twisting during the sample trial, then show the finished end. Insulation thickness, guide fit and blade depth must suit your actual wire, even when its nominal area falls within the range.
Is a twisted end always better for crimping?
No. End preparation must follow the terminal and applicator requirements; some crimps require untwisted strands. Tell us the downstream connection process so we can confirm the appropriate preparation and sample acceptance criteria.
Does double-wire operation guarantee twice the output?
Two wires can be processed in the same cycle, but that does not guarantee twice the finished hourly output. Cut length, stripping, twisting, feeding and handling all affect the result. We check your program and report the observed working rate rather than applying a multiplier to the specified 4,000–10,000 pcs/h range.
What should I send for a sample trial?
Send the actual wire, conductor area and strand construction, insulation material, finished length, head and tail strip lengths, and required twisted-end condition. Include any middle-strip positions. We use these to prepare a trial and show the results on video before you order.
How do I plan wire feeding and replacement parts?
Include reel weight and dimensions so we can match the feed arrangement and avoid excessive incoming tension. For blades, rollers and other wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
How is WM-187B different?
Our WM-187B is an alternate build with the same specified single- and double-wire ranges, quoted separately. We confirm the supplied configuration and sample settings for the model you select.
Can this perform outer-jacket and inner-core stripping in sequence?
For a defined two-layer stripping sequence with end twisting, see our WM-190N. Send the cable construction and end drawing so we can check which machine covers the layers and lengths required.
