CE Certified HS Code 8461.50 Tube up to Φ38 mm 60–210 pcs/min

Get a quote for WM-584 →

The WM-584 cuts flexible tubing to length and slits it lengthwise on the same pass, on a 650 × 480 × 420 mm bench frame. It takes tube up to Φ38 mm, with listed cutting accuracy ±0.1 mm and cut lengths from 0.1 to 99,999.9 mm. Output is 60 to 210 cuts per minute depending on piece length; we confirm finished length and output on your actual tube. A stepper-driven feed meters the tube and a flat replaceable knife makes the cut-off, both programmed from the English touchscreen. Besides corrugated conduit the specification includes silicone, rubber, oil-seal, medical, beverage, gas and water tube. Net weight is 66 kg on AC220 V, 560 W.

Key features

  • Up to 210 cuts a minute on short pieces; we confirm the complete cut-and-split cycle at your required length and tube size
  • Listed cutting accuracy is ±0.1 mm as an absolute figure, not a percentage. We confirm finished-length tolerance on your tube and selected length rather than assuming the same result for every material and length
  • The listed length setting range is 0.1–99,999.9 mm in one entry field; we confirm usable finished lengths on your sample
  • Flat cut-off knife is a plain consumable — it drops out and swaps in without dismantling the feed, so a dulled blade costs minutes rather than a service visit
  • Stepper-motor feed meters the tube against the counter instead of dragging it, which is what keeps piece length repeatable across a long batch
  • One machine for mixed tubing — the same head is rated for convoluted conduit, silicone and rubber hose, medical and beverage tube, and gas and water line

What it processes

  • Harness and cable-assembly shops pre-cutting split conduit and sleeving into counted kit lengths
  • Silicone, rubber and PVC tube converters cutting hose and sleeve to length in high piece counts
  • Medical, beverage and appliance tubing suppliers producing short, tightly-toleranced tube segments
  • Oil-seal, gas and water line fabricators cutting soft tube to fixed lengths for assembly

Suited for: flexible tubing up to Φ38 mm — convoluted conduit, silicone and rubber hose, medical, beverage, gas and water tube — cut to counted lengths and slit lengthwise, where the job is defined by piece count and tight length tolerance. Not suited for: conduit above Φ38 mm, which belongs on the WM-583 corrugated tube cutting and splitting machine with powered tube feeder covering Φ5–60 mm; heavy automotive loom fed from a bulk coil, where the WM-162 corrugated tube cutting machine with built-in 30 kg pay-off reel carries the coil for you across Φ3–32 mm; and metal tube, which needs the WM-183 automatic metal tube cutting machine for copper, aluminium and armoured pipe from Φ1 to Φ30 mm. If the pieces only need cutting to length and no split, across hose, conduit and pipe to Φ40 mm, the WM-582 automatic tube cut-to-length machine is the simpler buy.

Wall thickness and hardness differ from one tube supplier to the next, and a slitting knife feels that difference more than a cut-off knife does. Send us 2–3 metres of your actual tube and we run it on this machine on video — cut pieces and split line on camera — before you commit.

WM-584 — common questions

How does the WM-584 compare with your other two cut-and-split machines?

Three rungs, picked by bore and by rate. The WM-584 is the speed and precision rung: up to Φ38 mm, 60–210 cuts per minute, ±0.1 mm absolute, and cut lengths from 0.1 to 99,999.9 mm — the one to choose for high piece counts, very short pieces, or mixed tubing that is not only corrugated conduit. The WM-176 is the conduit rung: Φ4–32 mm (42 mm on request), a heavier 1.0 kW round-blade drive built specifically for automotive wire loom, cut lengths 5–9,999 mm. The WM-583 is the large-bore rung: Φ5–60 mm on a floor-standing head with its own 180 kg powered coil feeder, 10–60 pieces per minute. Tell us your tube diameter, wall and monthly volume and we will say which rung fits.

Is 210 cuts a minute a real production number?

The specified rate is 60 to 210 cuts per minute, depending on cut length — the top of the band belongs to short pieces, where the feed barely indexes between cuts, and the bottom to long ones, where most of the cycle is feeding rather than cutting. Give us your piece length and we will run your tube and time the actual rate before you order.

Does every piece come out split, or can I run closed tube as well?

The machine is built to cut and split in the same pass. If you need both closed and split pieces from the same machine, include that requirement in your inquiry. We confirm cut-only operation and the knife setup on the actual unit before you order.

What is the smallest tube it will handle?

Only the ceiling is published — Φ38 mm maximum. No minimum diameter is given, and the cutting length spec starts at 0.1 mm rather than telling you anything about bore. Send us 2–3 metres of your smallest tube; we run it on this machine and send you the video of the cut and split pieces.

What comes out of the machine at the end of a batch?

Counted pieces, cut square and slit down their length, dropped through the outfeed. Batch quantity, piece length and speed are all entered on the touchscreen, so an operator sets the job and comes back to a finished count rather than watching a tape measure.
